In this dialogue we look at all that's wrong with the concept of a Guru, as well as attempting to sift out the positive aspects that can be salvaged an incorporated into a healthy modern spirituality.

In our first dialogue I ask Tim all about Zen Buddhism – where it came from, what distinguishes it from other forms of spirituality and how it's been interpreted in the West. We look at Zen as not being one thing so much as being 'chalk and cheese' to itself, containing authoritarian teachings as well as iconoclastic rebels.
